No. I love the Fatima story!! Many should read that whole story because the Fatima children received a vision of Hell and it frightened them so badly that they did such heavey Penance for sinners that they got sick and they think the little one died because of her weakened condition.

No, I'm sure they saw something. But what kind of breaks my heart is that That type of manifestation, kind of a flashy show, like fireworks, is received as having great spiritual significance. ? ? ? To me, a great miracle would be something useful and helpful and happy, like breaking free of drugs, smoking or alcohol, learning to forgive, finding peace and coming out of depression, looking beyond selfishness and experiencing true compassion... I wish I could hear Mother Theresa comment on your question!

I think they were deceived.Remember the Bible said even Satan can appear as an angel of light.
Mary will not appear to anyone, she did her calling .She gave birth to the son of God.Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us Mary will be a messenger of God.
If a vision comes it will have to line up with the Bible. The Bible tells us this.<><

"lied" is a very strong word. I wonder why you are posing the question in that way? I know that it can be hard to believe in visions and miracles, especially if we have not experienced these things ourselves. I prefer to trust that they are true, and to have faith that the person who is experiencing them is touched by some form of grace.

God bless!

Yes.

All their "prophetic visions" were "revealed" after the fact by the one surviving sister. And have any of these 50,000 people ever said a word about what they supposedly saw? Nope.

No. I don't think they lied. If the Red Sea can part, and water turn into wine, why can't that happen too?

No, my gut instincts say they did not lie. Faith is a miraculous thing.
