Just tell them when you all have dinner. Hopefully, they'll accept you being gay b/c I think that someone who hates gay people are racist and believe in discrimination. Not accepting homosexuality is a form of discrimination.

This is a very delicate situation, some parents already know and some haven't a clue. How do they react when there are gay people around? That would be a clue and do they have any gay friends? If you are scared as to how they are going to react take them out to dinner somewhere at a restaurant so they won't make a spectacle out of themselves. You know your parents we don't so it is hard to give a definitive answer. If they are homophobic tell them out at a restaurant if they are fine with gays tell them at home.
