I will be 19 next month and the thought that I have yet to have a boyfriend, or even a date had occured to me. Now, I am constantly being told that I am attractive, and I am definitely not a ditz in any way. I make people laugh, and I am only opinionated when I need to be. I don't even have any male friends to really speak of. Im honest, and caring....and yet, still without a boyfriend. Is there something im doing thats wrong, or that is just wrong with me?

maybe you had better things to do, take a year off before you go to college and travel thru europe, pick some lucky guy and tell him he can go with you.

There is nothing wrong with you are just a late bloomer. I did not start dating until I was 18 and I did not get my first real boyfriend until i was 21. i am 27 now and I got married 3 months ago. Don't rush things i know you want a boyfriend because I remember I wanted to share my love with someone. He'll come along, if you are in college, go to some parties but don't get wild and crazy cause there are some awfully sick guys out there and you do not want to be one of those girls who wakes up and don't know what happened the night before. Alot of guys are intimidated by beauty and brains, there is nothing wriong with you. Guys are weird and the moment you think you understand them they do something out of the blue. If i were you try and make some male friends and show them that you are funny plus brains, there isn't a guy i know who would pass up that opportunity. As for a bf there obviously isn't a man around you that shapes up to what you want in a guy. Don't be in a rush to get a bf it will happen and when it does he will be all that you want in a man.

no, not unheard of. guy here, havent had my first relationship till 21, haven't been laid untill 18, am in a wonderful relationship now and worship the girl.
you sound desparate so here is a piece of info, dont get screwd on your first date, or too soon in the relationship either. it may damage your character which will lead to countless bad relationships in the future. Main point is to stay away from the overly masculine guys. Ya know, ones who brag about how much bud they drank last weekend. (domestic beer is **** anyway)

Take your time swetheart, you're not on anyone's schedule. I had my first GF at 20, and I dont regret waiting that long.
When you're ready, you'll get one. The biggest mistake you can make is to just pick any one just so you can be like everyone else.
Be happy with yourself, and be happy with exactly who you are. They'll all come soon, no worries... You're going to be an adult for a really long time and it's coming soon, so enjoy being a kid for a little longer! You'll miss it when it's over...

If that it is your picture then it is probably that you are not very good at seeing that others are interested in you. Pay attention to the guys body language more. Guys don't usually betray their interests through what they are saying. Also you have to give the guy some indignation that you are interested in him. I know that if a girl does the "coy" (where you look into the eyes and then look down quickly) look I will think of trying to find a way to talk to her. Guys are not very good at noticing interest through just talking. Much better at body language.

Well maybe you want to embrace you career or your life first before going out and finding a bf. But just wait and one day you will get one . But if ever you want to chat just IM me anytime. And don't worry the time will come when you won't know which guy to go out with. So be patient.

Nothing is wrong, if you do not want a boyfriend who cares? It seems that you are happy, so do what you want. If you want a boyfriend they will come naturly, thrust me. Just because everbody else has one does not mean they are happy. the boy is there just find him.

i was in the same situation... i am 19 myself... i was very shy when it comes to guys...now, i am starting not to be afraid of being myself... its okay to not have a bf! (less drama! woh hoo)
and geez low weez there is nothing wrong with you!!! Be yourself...don't put yourself down...
