Jehovah God never (yes NEVER) destroys a people without first warning them of their sins and explaining how they can avoid punishment.
(Amos 3:7) For the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will not do a thing unless he has revealed his confidential matter to his servants the [preachers]
(2 Peter 3:9-10) Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief,
(Romans 2:4) The kindly quality of God is trying to lead you to repentance
(Isaiah 30:19) He will without fail show you favor at the sound of your outcry; as soon as [God] hears it he will actually answer you.
(2 Timothy 2:23-26) Further, turn down foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing they produce fights. 24 But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil, 25 instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed; as perhaps God may give them repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth, 26 and they may come back to their proper senses out from the snare of the Devil, seeing that they have been caught alive by him for the will of that one
This is a main reason that Jehovah's Witnesses refuse to debate trivialities with troublemakers. Their resources are limited and they absolutely MUST perform the warning work which the rest of self-described Christianity ignores!
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. 5 You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
(2 Peter 2:5) Noah, a preacher of righteousness...
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

Jehovah is a beautiful, loving and merciful God. I thank him everyday all day long for the gift of is son Jesus Christ. I serve him and love him with all my heart. I thank my mother for bringing up in the law of Jehovah. I dedicated my life to him over 20 yrs ago. I look forward to his great day. I am now in the Spanish congregation. There is not I meeting that my eyes do not fill with tears of joy. It is such a pleasure to serve in a non English speaking congregation. It shows the unity of Jehovah's people, and that we follow his word the Bible, no matter where we are in the world.

(Mark 1:3) listen! someone is crying out in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of Jehovah, YOU people, make his roads straight,’”
(John 1:23) He said: “I am a voice of someone crying out in the wilderness, ‘MAKE the way of Jehovah straight,’ just as Isaiah the prophet said.”
(Acts 1:24) And they prayed and said: “You, O Jehovah, who know the hearts of all, designate which one of these two men you have chosen,
Jehovah is a very awe-inspiring God indeed!

Yeah, if you consider casting 2/3 of your creation into eternal torture to be beautiful.
"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." - Richard Dawkins, "The God Delusion".

Read the Old Testament, he is not so beautiful there. Also, God is NEVER called Jehovah in the New Testament.
