I just use ice and the fruit, maybe some fruit juice and yogurt. Never milk, it hurts me tummy!
It is the ICE that makes it a smoothie, by the way, no ice, no smoothie

If you use a frozen fruit it is very simple. I take frozen strawberries, a small amount of strawberry banana yogurt and a fresh banana. The frozen strawberry eliminates the need for adding ice. I have added a small amount of milk on occasion and found it aided in the smooth texture. that would strictly be a personal preference.

Silken tofu could properly be extra for an extremely healthful shake, i do no longer happen to safeguard it yet lots of persons do. i exploit low fat vanilla yogurt, a million field, a million/2 cup no sugar extra fruit juice and a million cup finished fruit, generally frozen for texture and temperature, now and back a small banana, if I even have it. This makes 2, one for me and one for my husband.
