In the foot area there are many possibilities. I would see a chiropractor and massage therapist and wear arch supports in the shoes, if this does not do it then see a podietrist.
The calf muscles are foot muscles.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

She may have heel spurs. This will cause pain and burning in the feet. If you have an old rolling pin, like you roll out pie crust with or cookie dough, try this: Have her sit in a chair and have her roll the arch of her foot over the rolling pin. This helps to stretch out the tendons in the arch of the foot releasing stress on the heel spurs. Standing against a cabinet with feet flat on the floor and leaning forward towards the cabinet will help stretch out the back of the leg tendons and this too will help. This worked for my husband when he had the burning pain in his feet. The rolling pin one is so easy to do. She could use it while watching her favorite program or any time she is sitting down.

there are several things it could be, fallen arches, spurs on her heals, bunions, also edema which is a swelling of the legs, she needs to keep her legs elevated take an anti inflammatory such as ibuprofen, and ice. you can tell if she has edema by pressing in on one spot on the leg if the dent stays she has edema. good luck God bless and put angels on your pillows.
