If it's the Volvo's heavy truck division you are referring to, the answer is NO. But, yes Ford does own the car division. They do also own Mazda, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Land Rover.

No, Ford does NOT own Volvo Truck division. Back in 98-99, Ford paid about $4BIL to purchase Volvo CAR division. That's the reason that the Volvo website is volvocars.com. If you try entering just volovo.com, you get the truck company. Ford, doesn't even own Ford TRUCK division...that was sold off as an seperate identity long ago.

Volvo Trucks are still Volvo Truck Corporation. In addition, Volvo Group still owns Penta (marine engine division), Volvo Bus Group, Volvo Aero (aircraft engines and parts, which, coincidentally, are used in the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet), Volvo Construction Equipment Group, and Volvo Financial Services.
