Say for instance you didn't like the way that he looked when he laughed or just something as simple.....yet relationship altering as that

maybe u saw how they treated others, maybe u got a glimpse into their past. sometimes its just something about them, table manners, can be anything really that turns one off, be it a good reason or not. but some reasons are shallow, and unfounded. the only reason to change ones mind should be something that would affect you personally in the future. like how they treated your kids, how they handled stress, and disapointment. maybe it could be when u met their family and just decided it was not for u.

I had various reasons to know my ex wasn't the one. From not being similar in personality and wants for the future ( a big reason), to not liking how he brushed his hair and when he wore glasses instead of contacts (simple and probably shallow but i wasn't attracted to him at all!)

He tried to get me to think bad things about my beautiful sweet 16 year old daughter. He put her down a lot about many things. I knew then that no matter how much I loved him, by lovely sweet angel comes first. And nobody can sabotage my feeling for my daughter.

Can I list a few (trying to remember my dates)..
*Being cheap. As bad as wanting to split even coffee.
*Being overly possessive...to the point of my suffocation.
Not letting me be me. Being controlling.
*Having a roving eye or being flirty with the female population.
Those are the big ones...

Possesiveness! Telling me what I can and can't do. When I was allowed to spend time with my family, didn't want me going to the gym because that took time away from him.

The way he treated me was not the way I wanted to be treated, so I knew he wasn't the one and I moved on.
