I really like this guy named matt. He's in 12th grade and I'm in 10th. We're both really shy and have been through alot of pain through past relationships. But I always smile at him and he always smiles at me and we look at each other for about 3 minutes and we dont stop smiling. We always flirt with one another. After gym class he waits for me, but acts like he doesnt. And its just the two of us walking down the halls. We never talk to each other or anything. But we always admire one another from afar. I know this probably sounds a hell of alot crazy but what should I do? I really like him but my friend says that he has a girlfriend but his best friend says that he doesnt that he's shy and that he doesnt ever go on the internet or be the first one to go up to a girl. What should i do? I really want to go out with him and everything. I want to give him a note in the halls. How should I write it though? Please help me!!)!!)!)!)

Instead of writing this guy named Matt a note to pass to him in the halls between classes, try talking to him during your lunch break or during gym if you have some extra time. So you guys are really shy but you will get over it and be able to date each other in confidence. You are getting mixed signals from your friend and his friends about whether he has a girlfriend so maybe you need to express to him what you heard and find out from him directly if it is true and if he says yes then don't bother dating him just continue to be friends with him. If he says no then maybe you and him could hook up and see how you and him fair. Sometimes you can't believe what other people say because sometimes the information is not excatly correct when it gets to you. It is better going straight to the source. Good Luck.

Wow, this is hard!!
He seems like a really sweet guy, definetly a keeper
But.....I'd say don't go with the note. Could you maybe just talk to him about it? Guys tell me all the time that they hate notes...maybe this is different for your boy Matt here, but that's just a guess.
Talking online helps a lot, maybe you could get his screen name or just go out for coffee sometime. Just open up to him a little more and maybe {hopefully!!} he'll open up to you!!

well i think that you should trust your friends more than anything for now and then they could be joking around'!' an that if he is more shy than you are and if your really shy than you shouldn't talk you should just wright a note to him and then wright before you to start to go your own directions then you should give it to him'!'
