there is allot you can do for stress relief.
1. exercise ( its good for the mind and the body by relieving tension and pent-up frustration and raises the out-put of endorphins and decreases the output of stress hormones. )
2.Take a hot bath ( a hot bath lets our bodies and minds know "okay its time to let go")
3. Light aromatherapy candles and play some soft music or nature sounds ( close your eyes and get in a comfortable position weather it be sitting, or lying down -try not to fall asleep with candles burning- and bring your mind to the ocean, forest, exc.)
4. stretch ( raise your hands above your head and get a good stretch this is not excluding any other stretches that you are comfortable with)
5. personally I have had success with all of these my best friend is lavender anything. use lavender scented candles, body wash, bubble bath. I have found it more effective when the lavender is used in something warm and not juts a spray. So maybe if you are a really busy person carry around some Aveeno lavender wash with you and when you feel stressed find a bathroom and make the water hot then either splash your face with some lavender soap or run some in the hot water (like if you were making a bubble bath) and breath in the evaporating water.
6. a supplement to take to reduce stress is st johns wart ( yet it will not be as fast acting as the other treatments but its a good idea to take it any way)

Stay away from Kava Kava. I don't think it is 100% safe. I have read where there is a chance it could hurt your liver function. The aroma therapy is a good idea though. Essential oils have been used successfully for hundreds of years. I rub a few drops of an essential oil blend on my daughters wrists and feet when she goes to bed. She is much more calm these days and I'm thinking that this has helped. Someone who does reflexology (foot massage) told me about this. A good company to purchase them from is www.youngliving.com

Make sure you are doing some things for yourself. Once in awhile get a massage done - - - it does wonders! Or a manicure, pedicure or a facial. Just little things will help a lot.

I had anxiety . I think it was because of lack of nutrition. I started taking glyconutrients and my anxiety went away. Do a web search or go to the site below to learn more about glyconutrients.
