No, tell me - who is normal? Nearly everyone goes through some form of mental health issue at some time in their life. Just look at poor old Britney Spears! It is as common and normal as catching a cold. Our society has a taboo about it that shouldn't exist, and that just exacerbates the problem. I have had anxiety, depression and OCD at various points in my life. I am a functional neurotic but i still have lots of friends, a husband and a successful business. I have nothing to be ashamed of, and if you are feeling bad, neither do you! Just be smart and get some help. Don't be scared.

It's bad to think this, because the more you think it , it will be your reality. Our thoughts create our realities. It seems you may be focusing on the wrong things and also, you probably have many negative thoughts about yourself. You have to focus on the good qualities you have. You also need to start telling yourself that you do not have this mental illness. Start by really paying attention to your subconscious thoughts and try to pinpoint them. Ex... are you thinking that you are crazy, stupid, fat, no fun to be w/, ugly. You may not be feeling these thoughts, but other negative thoughts. Start replacing the negative w/ the positive ex.. I CAN do this, I am a good person, I am fun to be w, I am sane, ect. Again, just examples. Get creative w/ the positive and you will make the negative go away. NEVER try to stop or work against the negative thought. This is bad. Every time you think a negative thought follow it w/ a positive. This will help you! If you believe that you are important enough to be in this world then things will change for you. I promise!!! This will get you to the point of self love. Once you love yourself, you will unconditionally love others and you will have healthy relationships. Good Luck!
