Why when we write I love you we replace the 'love' for a heart. And why when we lose someone we love they say "our heart is broken." does that organ really have anything to do with the feeling of love?

Yes. Just ask a person who has a heart attack when their partner dies.

I can't think of any other organ responsible for feeling love, can you? :) It's an interesting question. Some researches say that love is a lot to do with smells - meaning that our noses sense an attractive body scent and make us fall in love with particular individuals. I believe in that from my own experience. So, following the logic it's a chemical reaction within your body through your blood, that feeds the heart. So, there you go!

Thats a good question.. I've always thought of that myself. Personally, I think love is reacted from the brain... lol, I don't know.. since the brain makes us alive I think the brain is the one that does our emotions.
