What are the judges going to look for when I compete my horse in barrel weaving competitions?

As far as I've ever heard barrel weaving is basically barrel racing. So time is of the essence. Of course if you knock down a barrel then there is a time penalty. There is no showyness to barrel racing it's all about speed and keeping the barrels up!

Don't jump the starting "gun" . Circle all three barrels. Don't knock any down (bumping them is OK, but will slow you down)

Then it's all about speed , speed , speed !!
