hi! I've been dealing with clinical depression for 8-9 years and i've just now gotten into a good relationship with a nice man.
It took me a long time to find someone, so I do understand where your coming from....All I can tell you is that it takes time, but its worth the wait. Give yourself time its worth it! I went through the time where i felt worthless to everyone and believe me it will pass. Best of LUCK!

a positive attitude will open doors. if you are stuck in a negative mode nobody will want to join you.look for things you enjoy stick with them and dont be afraid to ask a girl out, if she says no accept that it is her option and possibly her loss.just say nothing ventured nothing gained, you have a great day anyway. she may give you a second look.dont let it get you down there is someone out there waiting for your advance.

It doesn't sound like you are ready for a relationship anyway because dating does involve rejection. (It's a numbers game and you have to have a healthy attitude about rejection.)
As for me, my fiance broke up with me due to my depression.
Now, I'm just working on me. Getting myself to a healthy place.
There is a relationship matrix:
DEPENDENCE (get material support from others)
INDEPENDENCE (able to stand on your own)
INTER-DEPENDENCE (time for a relationship)
I'm still at the dependence stage!
Until you stabilize, I recommend you focus on yourself.

I definitely have difficulties with relationships......this is more linked to myself being bipolar though. I have learned how to adjust better because of medications, but I am sure it will never be easy. However, it isn't easy for anyone. Learn to love yourself....get professional help......and then you will be able to find someone that you love because they love you because your exactly the way you are.

I have been depressed in the past and my husband didn't understand. He couldn't relate to what I was feeling and wanted me to just snap out of it. This created a distance between us for a while.

You will never be able to have a relationship if you have depression. Get medical help for the depression, your health comes first. Relationships second.

Not on my part but my boyfriend has suffered for a long time and we still have a lot of problems with it. You should talk to your Dr. about it. Every one deserves to be happy!
