The gigantic dormant volcano is Haleakala. A very popular thing to do is to get there before dawn and watch the sun rise from above the clouds. After the sunrise, you can coast a bike down the side of the volcano for the next two hours.

I would recommend

They drive you to the top with a bike and let you take your own time going as fast or as slow as you like on the way back.

You should go snorkeling at Molokini which is a volcanic crater that has collapsed into the ocean. For that I would go on the Pride of Maui. http://www.prideofmaui.com/ Or http://www.sailtrilogy.com/adventures/molokini/

The old Lahaina Luau should not be missed.

This is the best luau in Hawaii. You will need to make reservations in advance though because it's always sold out.

Whale Watching is a lot of fun. http://www.pacificwhale.org/

You've got to drive the Road to Hana.

This drive is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 drives in the US.

As you near Hana, you should visit the 7 sacred pools.

Which is a series of waterfalls and pools at the base of the waterfalls.

That's all for now.

I would personally be certain the hubby and I check out the bed thoroughly. Shower, order room service and check out the reading material (places to go and things to see). I would then double check the bed, get a good nights sleep (jet lag cure helper) and head out in the morning.
