I have a friend that lives around/with people who smoke marijauna(she used to smoke also but the last time she smoked was last November), and she had to take a drug test, and she's concerned she won't pass. So I'm wondering if anyone knows if second-hand marijuana smoke will show up on the drug test?

Unfortunately she's going to fail. Tell her to start hanging around new drug free friends and she may have a chance at a decent future.

Depends on type of test. Most urine based testing has ppm (parts per million) limits. Minute amounts of THC, which can store in the body's fat cells for up to 30 days, are not enough to trigger a positive result. True second hand smoke with limited exposure is not nearly enough to trigger a positive in these urine tests, although may show up in a laboratory blood test.
If your friend urine tests positive, swears it's from second hand smoke, then feel free to tell her to get honest and just admit she is using.
