You should definately go out and do things. It doesn't have to be a club. Just getting out is healthy for you and it will help you move on. Sometimes keeping in communication will ease the pain but it can also drag out the process of you getting over him and moving on with your life. I think you should go out and live your life and stop any communication with him, until you can have a friendship with him without your feelings "coming back". It's not ez, it's sux but you'll be better in the long run. Hold your head up high...you'll get through this.

I hear ya, girl. Must of been National Dump Your Girlfriend Week ... I lost 14 yrs. But my feeling about seeing each other after the break up, would just be rubbing salt in the wound. The saying " I loved you to much to ever start liking you, so don't expect for me to be your friend. " ... I'm making a clean break. I might be doing it wrong, time will tell. Your young, don't sit waiting for him, life is to short. Get back into dating scene as soon as you can. You might be surprised ... at least your not wasting any more time. You already lost 2 yrs. If I was young, I be out & having fun with all my g/f I missed 'cause I was spending all my extra time on him. Good luck to both of us! Marie

Go out and enjoy yourself. My ex and i broke up after a year and a half and the night we broke up was a friday and i went to the club. I had some drinks, danced a bit and i think it really helped.

ok hunny ive had this issue except that we werent jointly for 2 years yet i understand it hurts and that i understand your unhappy. i advise ice cream and flicks along with your girlfriends dont flow onto different adult males yet cuz they could attempt to take income of you because that is this kind of venerable time for you you stated you do not have any man or woman to loiter round with once you've any close cousins or any buddy which im particular you do precisely flow out and characteristic some interesting attempt to save your ideas no longer continually on it. im no longer affirming to no longer imagine about it because contained in the destiny that only makes issues worse. i wish you experience more suitable positive. i understand its confusing and its going to be. i wish this enables =]

There is no right or wrong answer here. If going out and getting your groove on will keep your sanity--go for it! Have fun and there will be other loves that come your way! Life's too short to be miserable.

Go when you feel like it, but you dont have to force yourself to party to fit in, try reading a good book or hanging out with friends or soemthing else relaxing and fun.
