This sounds like it could be a weird boil, a blood blister (but it seems like you would have noticed the blow that created it), a cyst, an abscess (although I've never heard of an abscess on a forehead), a weird burst blood vessel, or something I don't know about. Whatever it is, you shouldn't mess with it. I've been told several times (by doctors) that you should never fool with anything swollen close to your eyes or temples. And this sounds like the interference has not been helpful! You should go to your dermatologist, doctor, or a walk-in clinic at a hospital if you don't have the former. You can develop bad infections from this sort of thing, even if at the moment it's not one of the more serious things.

Please see a dermatoligist soon! This does not sound normal or healthy! I'm in the medical field and if this was me I would make an appointment yesterday. This could be serious but more then likely it's not, it's better to be safe and have it looked at. you can ask your doctor to refer you to a good dermatoligist. Depending on what insuance you have you can call them & see if you need a referal from your doctor or if you don't they can give you the names of those who take your insurance. But please! do it soon

Stop picking at it, you need to see the Dr. if you're that worried about it. You will end up with a scar or infection if you keep messing with it.
