what is the difference between dating and being involved with someone but not sexually and not interested in anyone but them.. i dont understand.. i have been hearing about it and to me their both called dating..opinions please..

well involved as your not dating and not interested in anyone else..ur not even sexual together..the 2 people like eachother.. and im going through this.. so i want to know the difference between that and dating.. (as bf gf..)

Same. but it does depend on how serious the relationship is as well. Dating is simply getting to know eachother but being in involved can be or get more serious. relationships have levels. Level 1 getting to know eachother (dating) does not mean you are boyfriend and girlfriend they are friends. Level 2 when they become committed then they are boyfriend and girlfriend.

Dating is about finding out more about a partner. It doesn't mean both are together. Dating is like a friendship +. Notice the "+" which difer from friendship.
Being involved with a person means they're sexually engaged in an relationship... There's no such thing as being involved with a person but not sexually. That's just another make up word.

You can be dating and not be involved sexually. It just means you go on dates, and hang out with the other person.
Being involved is pretty much the same thing, except sometimes you can date multiple people at the same time, but when you get exclusively involved, then you are only with the one person..
hopefully that makes even a little bit of sense.. :)

There was a day, and it should still be so, that dating was one of the first steps in the weeding out process leading up to marriage. Dating, or being exclusively paired, was considered to be a serious step. But, today, there seems to be an understanding that dating, and changing partners is as common as changing your shirt. The problem with that thinking, is that all relationships create bonds, and, bonds suffer when broken. My worst break-up was with a girl in high school. Never have I felt such pain. And, sex, is a gift you give your husband on your wedding night. It is a gift that God has given you, to protect until the appropriate time. Any man worthy of you, will wait!

dating is basically going out with someone to learn more about each others' interests and overtime share intimacy. If you really like this guy and u guys r suppossedly going places by yourself and having a good time, then yes, that would be dating.

one was "dating" the other was "going steady"
