I guess people are trying to tell you not to be in such a hurry to grow up that you miss all the wonderful things and opportunities life offers to the young, but you should still learn from your experiences and know not to say things that would make you seem ignorant.

ahh its hard to explain, if i explained it the way i wanted to it would be so long that you would fall asleep reading it.

You got a point. But I think what they are really trying to say is be responsible for your own actions while at the same time acting your age. You don't want to be 10 acting 30 or 30 acting 10. Adults just want their children to think before they act, and when a child does that he is being responsible.

because it's good to be a child at heart, but sometimes people do need to "grow up." It's just the way it is.

When you turn that magic number 18 your responsible for self and can't hide behind Mommy and Daddy,so you have to grow up.Bummer
