They don't possess wisdom, they earn it by paying out a little bit of life each day. Some days they have to pay out wads of life in exchange for what will later be wisdom or experience.

We should be grateful for every bit they choose to give us, even the ones we don't want to hear. It might let us save some of our own life so that we can spend it acquiring further wisdom elsewhere.

remember this, having knowlege is not wisdom, however good knowledge being put to good use is wisdom. So therefore the aged possess knowledge and those of whom put it to good use are wise.

yes, i think most do b/c they've experienced lifes ups and downs already and theyve learned alot so i would say old folks carry wisdom

Actually, its supposed to be a good idea to carry a $10 or20 in case you are accosted. That way you have something to give them, but not enough to really cramp your style.
