considering the transportation issues in the 1700's and 1800's when the US was settled, MOST immigrants were from similiar localities (England or Europe). So, having German heritage is not a likely reason to be related.
But.. if someone (ahem..) were to tempt you enough to really get into researching your background(s), it would benefit both of you to know about Germany resources and history. For example.. www.rootsweb.com has mailing lists that focus on every country in the world. This is via email postings, and networks with persons having a similiar interest.
Another cool place is www.cyndislist.com, which has thousands of links/resources, including beginner's tutorials.
Now, WHO would love to drag anyone she could, into doing research? Moi??

It is a possibility because Everyone has 0.03% of DNA that are similar. We are all related in one way but we are not that related to be exact

Yes...there is a chance, but you'd have to do much research to find it.
Alot of people hail from the same countries, it doesn't mean your family.

No matter your race or ancestory, you are 70th or less cousins with EVERYONE. If you're roots are similar, you're likely even closer realated than that. Crazy, eh?
