I'm considering the Nissan Sentra for my next car. If you own one/have owned one, please give me your opinion on it. Did you like it? Did you have any problems with it? Any insight is helpful. Thanks!

To clarify, I would be getting either a 2006 or 2007 Sentra.

I drive a 1996 Nissan Sentra. Its a really good car. I get around 35 miles per gallon and it still runs well eventhough its ten years old. I don't know how old the one you're thinking about buying is, but I know that my '96 Sentra still runs really well. I would recommend one to anyone because they're very reliable.

I have never owned one but I hear the reliability on the Sentra's have declined during the past several years, I would rather get a Toyota Corolla or a Mazda 3 (or Protege) instead.

I have a 2002 sentra 1.8 with the 5 speed for a company car it just hit 164,000 miles and other than an emissions issue that caused a check engine light (twice) it has been surprisingly reliable. however the car is underpowered so I would avoid the automatic.
