The Prez is big on talking up the troops and his love and respect for them. Yet, he allows them to be sent to war without adequate equipment and protections. Then, when they come home wounded, the hospitals, for which he is the Commander In Chief, are substandard at best. What gives??

Hey, the VA hospital problem is a result of frivolous law suites - don't blame Bush for that!!!!!

His words don't even match his face!... how could his actions match his rhetoric!

Seriously though... no I don't think it does match, but that's what the president has to do (well, no he could admit he's wrong and bring the people home, but it's Bush we're talking about)... Presidents can't go in an interview and say how much they hate the troops and wish they'd die and admit that he's not sending them all these important military things... He has to give a good image to the American people. Actually I don't doubt his heartfelt respect for the troops... I just think his actions are unreasonable... You can have a true belief, but just be too unreasonable to act on it.

No one man knows everything! But, (if you'll notice!?), he's been taking care of each and every problem as it arises... and I mean "right now!" He just fired that general in charge of the Army's top hospital: Walter Reed Medical Center! And he got the armor situation resolved in record time! What do you want? No other president in our history has responded to so much so fast as Bush! Check it out for yourself!
Hell, he came into a system that was already so corrupt that he's been cleaning up ever since... The man is steadfast, even under such mass media criticism as he is, (even by such uninformed criticism as yours and people like you!).
Why don't you and the others try supporting him instead of always criticizing him like you do?! You're tearing down your own country - right in front of the whole world!! Stop it!

That is just the tip of the iceberg!

He cut VA Hospitals by 100 BILLION in 2006 though we now have had around 37,000 wounded, many missing limbs from IEDs! He gave a tax cut to the rich though!

His current budget again slashes VA hospitals, but contains a tax cut for the rich!

He tried to eliminate combat pay!

He cut widow's benefits in 1/2!

They were charging those who were wounded in Iraq and discharged from Walter Reed for their meals!

They were charging those in Ft Hood who lost their Body Armor because it had to be cut off of them because they were wounded $600.00 to replace them!

They still don't have armored Humm Vees in Iraq, nor the kits to armor them!

They have been used for target practice the past 4 years, with Iraq becoming worse by the day!

Care about the troops! You have to be kidding!

Haven't you noticed his 'gang' approves huge sums of moneys into all the right places, then ATTACH as many remotely associated branches as is possible to each appropriation thus nullifying effect, but stuffing party support?
This is not going to be America's finest moment in presidential choices, i am afraid.

Well the only the way the buck stops here with Mr Bush is if he can get it into his pocket.
