We have the Evenflo Embrace. I like it because we were able to get a second base so we have a base in each car. The bases are adjustable so you don't have to use a rolled towel to get it at the right angle. I like that the chest clips together (some only slip around the piece). I also like the "Z" handle, makes it easy to carry.

I have the Safety 1st travel system... I wouldn't recommend it. The infant carrrier is very big and bulky... very heavy when your baby is 20 pounds. The stroller doesn't steer very well because the tires are too big. The handle bar is too high for a shorter person (I'm 5'5").

I would recommend to you to find an infant seat you like (or a convertible car seat)... and a stroller you love, and go with separates. Your infant will only use the carseat for less than a year, whereas the stroller will be used for about three years.

Make sure whatever you get fits into your vehicle.... many of the travel systems are too big for compact cars.

Good Luck.
