just realize that your mom has your best interests at heart, you should listen to her, they are pretty much always right. you can't make her like him, he'll have to earn that!

You didn't mention your age, which makes me think this is important. Most grown ups don't dwell on their parents meddling in their love lives.
I think your mom is trying to protect you. Sometimes mom's just have better instincts than we do, and they know better through experience. Mom's Look at things from the outside, so they can give a better perspective and point out red flags we don't see, or we're not WILLING to see.
If example, you pay for most things, or he looks at other girls, or he doesn't have his ducks in a row, moms can tell this guy is not good enough for my daughter. If he doesn't care about school, then he doesn;t care about the future, why would you want to end up with a guy like that?
If it's how he dresses, or how he acts, it could be that she thinks you can do better, or you could find someone who treats you much better.
I would ask your mom, what is it EXACTLY that she doesn't like about him, and thank her for her advice. Tell her you'll consider her thoughts, and THEN think for yourself. If what she says makes sense, I would say that sometimes we do love and care for someone very much, but maybe that person is just not for you.

Ask your mom what she doesnt like about him!! if it is something resonable then u should probably take her advice!!! The saying about moms know best is usually true when it comes to relationship advice!!!

well i think that ur choice really depends on why your mom hates him.. like is he ages older than you? ordoes she just nt like him for appearance or personaliis there an reason she would have to not trust him.. like drugs or anything?

If your mother for hating him, talk it out with her. If that deson't work out, tell her why your with him.
Your mother has no power over who you like or love, so go for it. Love should be let be.
