She's going to be turning 13 soon but my parents are making a big deal out of it but some of my friends say its ok. Whats ur advice?

I dont think you should date anyone more then 2 years older or younger then you if she falls within that time span then ya go for it. But also think about where your parents are coming from. Remember she's only 12 that's about a 3 year diff if you were 18 and she 15 that would be illegal and cause some problems. Put yourself in yours and her parents position Would you want your daughter going out with a guy that's 3 years older then her. Go with your heart do whats you think is best for you and whats gonna ultimately be best for her. Good Luck.

YES it's wrong. She's a child. She's not mature enough to date, and even at 13, she'll barely be able to handle it, especially with an older boy.
And you better not even THINK about kissing her, making out with her, or anything more than holding her hand, or you are setting both of you up for BIG trouble.

My advice is to make sure you don't pressure her to do anything she doesn't want to do. Age ain't nuthin' but a number...I was in a similar situation once.
