One of Tesla's greatest ambition, was that he was determined to make electrical power equal for everyone. Especially the people in poverty. Before Tesla, all motors ran on direct current only, and that gave Edison and his "DC only" system the edge. Then Tesla created the alternating current motor, giving AC the final edge it needed. AC was found superior. First, because of the easy voltage transformation. Secondly, AC could be generated remotely at very high voltages. Thirdly, it could be stepped-down to accommodate local distribution and home use. While Edison's system depended on the generators being close to the users, and very large conductors still being needed between the two.

change whatever is needed. THANK YOU!!!!!

Here is a slightly modified version that keeps most of the text that you wrote.

One of Tesla's greatest ambitions was that he was determined to make electrical power equally available to everyone, especially people who lived in poverty. Before Tesla, all motors ran on direct current only, which gave Edison and his "DC only" system the edge. Then Tesla created the alternating current motor giving AC the final advantage it needed. AC was superior because of the easy transformation of voltages. AC could be generated remotely at very high voltages and then it could be stepped-down to accommodate local distribution and home use. The high voltage meant that the currents were lower and smaller conductors could be used. In comparison, Edison's system depended on the generators being close to the users, and depended on very large conductors between the source and destination to avoid large power losses.

Hope these changes are helpful to you. Your facts look good; I just tried to improve the clarity, punctuation, etc. Good luck!

One of Tesla's greatest ambitions was that he was determined to make electrical power equal for everyone, especially those who lived in poverty. Before Tesla, all motors ran on direct current only, and that gave Edison and his "DC only" system the edge. Then Tesla created the alternating current motor, giving AC an edge. AC became the preferred form of electricity because of the ease of transforming its voltage. AC could be generated remotely at very high voltages, then "stepped down" to accommodate local distribution and home use. By contrast, Edison's DC system depended on having generators close to the users, and very large conductors (wires) were still needed between the generator and the user. Because alternating current is transmitted at high voltages, smaller conductors can be used.

One of Tesla's greatest ambitions, was his determination to make electrical power equally available to everyone, especially those in poverty. Before Tesla, electric motors ran on direct current, giving Edison and his "DC only" system the edge. Tesla's creation, alternating current and a motor using this AC system, proved superior in application because of remote generation capability at very high voltages, which could be easily transformed and stepped-down to accommodate local distribution and home use. Edison's system depended on the generators being close to the users, and very large conductors between the two.

The correct abbreviation for alternating current is a.c. and that for direct current is d.c.

Lower case letters and a stop after each.

There is no justification for the use of upper case (except common ignorance and misuse).
