For both of my infants, I remember my doctor telling my wife and I to make sure she gets about 20-24 oz. if milk a day. It looks like you're giving your baby about 32. I don't think that much is necessarily bad, especially if he is asking for it. You may still want to check with your doctor though, since neither my wife nor I are doctors.

With Children of my own when they hit a year and were eating solid foods as yours is I would substitute fruit, crackers, and juice or water in a sippy cup (that way you can get them used to not getting 2 bottles of milk so close together) between 1pm and 4pm, and then at 5pm give them the milk bottle other than that I don't see a problem with your child's intake of milk or the schedule. You may also want to try veggies, crackers, and juice or water instead of fruit.

I would skip one of the milk bottle and give one bottle of a next step formula to make sure that your child is getting some vitamins and minerals. I have a 20 month old niece that doesn't eat well. My sister doesn't feel so bad if shes not eating so well and gives her simalac next step. Other than that, I think its a great schedule.
BTW my older niece drank lots of whole milk and became anemic. On the other hand, every child is different. I no pro neither.
Good luck:)

for starters learn from my mistake i am a mother to 5 and my oldest son Michael i gave milk in the bottle 25000 worth of dental work later, GET RID OF THE BOTTLE, whole milk in a bottle will rot there teeth right out, the only thing a bottle is good for is formula, , your child believes he needs to drink as much milk as he did formula because you are giving it to him in a bottle to get rid of bottle from now on put nothing but water in it you will have a bad week but then it will be done, trust me the longer you wait the harder it will get, as for how much milk he needs, he's drinking too much in my opinion and that's because it's in the bottle , your child will eat better and better when you cut down the milk, he is eating like a person now not a baby, how much milk do you drink? give juice water, yogurt drinks, cut juice in half with water, use sippy cups or regular cups, good luck, it's an adjustment for you and him, he's getting older, it's hard for a mom to just change what she is used to doing, but try and ask your doc, they will agree with me

i have a 14 month old.. and since we switched her to milk (8 months old) we haven't to keep in mind now that although yes they need the nutrients of milk, food should be concentrated on now, it is the main feeder not the milk anymore! (if that makes sense) lol.. as of right now my 14 year old has a cup of milk in the morning (milk with cereal as well) usually a cup of milk around 11am.. a cup when she wakes up after her afternoon nap (around 2pm) and one around 6 after dinner.
Also remember to watch the juice intake.. Babies do not need juice! It just ruins their teeth! I give my baby juice however only like 1/2 inch of juice and the rest water.. and ahh poor you, your baby still gets up at 4:30 in the morning!!!!
I would try substituting some of the milk with water.. You can feed the baby other dairy products such as yougurt with fruit or cottage cheese!
Good luck to yoU! and congrats on baby #2!!!!

According to my doc, it's not too much. Just a word of advice ....it would be a great time to get him off the bottle. Especially with another baby coming. If he's off the bottle before the baby comes then he probably will be over it by then. But if he isstill on the bottle when the baby comes it will be harder to get him off it. You will have a hard time getting him off the bottle if he is seeing his sibling still getting a bottle. I don't think you want him to be three and still ont he bottle. Anyway, just a suggestion.

yes, you are giving him too much milk. his main diet should be focused on food now, not milk. i did the same thing with my daughter, not knowing until i went to a nutritionist. he should be getting between 16 and 24 ounces of milk a day. try giving him some water, i didnt notice you saying you gave him any, he should be drinking water at this point. try substituting it for some of his milk bottles

well giving him whole milk is fine as long as u only give a bottle like every adleast 45 minutes because if u give him a bottle every 15 minutes he could start haveing toot aches or start throwing up and u should actualy go 45 minutes then like an hour and a half and keep goin back in forth
