its decent i guess
but i try to do something around 6 or 7?
work up to that-
and it might help to run outside, or change a course
it really helps with motivation if you have a different route, or something else then a treadmill.

gl yeah?

or i mean, 6 or 7 speed, 2 miles is cool.

That's about a 15-minute per mile pace which is equivalent to a brisk walk or very light jog for many (see link for conversion chart - mph to pace).

Don't get discouraged, though. I'd keep going adding some longer workouts with spurts of intensity...you'll improve over time. There's another 10-week schedule below to start running, and from my friends and family that have used it...it really works. Best of luck!

i don't think so...

on the track, a 5 minute mile is run at about 12 mph

its always easier and better for you to run outside than on a treadmill
7 mph can tire u out on a treadmill while its kind of easy outside

why not go run 2 miles outside and get some fresh air? its a lot nicer than running on a treadmill.

Yeah, sure. But I'm telling you from experience THE TREADMILL IS EVIL!!!! It tore up my sister's hand and put me out of running for 4 weeks. There's nothing like the real thing. Get outside and run!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walk at 4mph so I don't think i would call it a good jog. You wouldn't have to go much faster though, and maybe you don't walk as fast as I do.
