Hi guys, my question is about this radio. I can't seem to get any help from the becker company without them charging a ridiculous amount of money. I got this old car a few weeks ago. I really like it but the radio doesnt work. Not that's its broken, but when I turn on the car it just says "Wait..." and blinks that forever (or at least I think, at least for 25 minutes it did this then I just stopped trying). I thought it was broken but I read this was an anti-theft feature of the radio. How do I get it so that it asks me to enter the code and then I can enter it and get it working again!, thanks!

So I can just enter the code directly while it is blinking "Wait..." ?

I thoguht I had to do something first so it didnt say "Wait." and then it asked for Code or something, and THEN i entered code.

Thanks.

This is what I found on the Becker audio website:

1432 Code

* This unit has 4 digit code enter the 4 digits the unit will automatically unlock. If you enter the code and it does not unlock, do not enter again.
* If the unit is in wait, it means you have entered the wrong code
* Leave the ignition on for 15 minutes or 24 hours depending in how many times the wrong code was entered.
* Once the unit returns to code contact us for proper code.

By leaving ignition on, does that mean just the key slightly turned, etc.. not the engine turned on? Because theres no way I can leave the engine on for 24 hours

right. there is some thing code wise, that needs to be entered, befor the radio will work. even if the battery died and needed to be replaced, that code would have to be reentered, to get the radio to work.
If you can, carefully remove the radio, make shure you remember wich connectors go ware, look see, if there are any stickers that may have the code, or make, so you can go to it's maker for the code, or maybe it is available over the net.

Make, model,serial numbers ect
