What water temperature is better for your voice?

I wanna be a singer i wanna start taking care of my voice and i wanna know what water temp. is better. I always see musicians drinking water in the middle of their amd it looks like it's room temperature. Can you tell me what temp. is best for my voice and why?

or hot herb tea with lemon

room temp. because it softens the vocal cords without destroying them too much.
