As soon as i walk into my cockatiels bedroom he starts stretching-he'll stretch out his wings and his legs, and then when i put him on my shoulder he will start chirping lightly at me and put his tongue to my cheek.......what does that mean??

He's streching cause he is anticipating coming out.

His tounge to your cheek is a gesture of affection.

Sounds like you have a good relationship with your birdie.

he's prolly stretching because he knows you'll pick him up.

AND how adorable your bird loves you he is giving you kisses and showing you affection give him kisses back on his beak. He'll love it

birds will try this plenty. in a great number of cases its because the chicken is fearful or scared. no longer that your scary, merely that they don't now a thanks to be calm to be in a position to assert. My chicken does a similar ideal element.
