Hmmm - I am a pastor. Am I a hypocrite? I can be. I think every human being has it in himself to be a hypocrite at times. We must try not to be, at least be as transparent and authentic as we can.

Not mine. My Pastor is a man of integrity. He loves God, the Word of God & His wife & family, and not to forget the rest of the church people.
That is one reason he is my Pastor. Pastor Jack Holt of River of Life Fellowship in Kent WA.
We are doing a new Easter play this Easter, titled "Jesus". It is going to be the best one ever. New props, going to baptize Jesus in the Rivers' River Jordon, going to deliver a demonic possessed person, etc...

My Father Confessor? Probably. But he's competent, that's all that matters. A hypocrite? I'm sure in some ways, he is. We all are, to some degree. Look at Al Gore.....now THERE'S a hypocrite.

I'm not in a place to judge people when I myself have made mistakes.
My pastor is an incredible man. He's been one of my mentors for about a year and a half now

i think so...it is like my job...i work at the front desk in a hotel and i have to be nice and everything to the guests since it is my job but i can´t stand most of them since they are always asking stupid questions or complaining about everything...but i have to be "nice"... So i think the same happens to priests and the rest...being priests is their job so they have to pretend they care but inside they dont give a dam about anyone...as regards vocation...well like everything else, my first months at my job i was the nicest guy on earth after that when everything became rutine i stopped being the nicest one but pretending to be...same happens to them, at the beginning they may be inspirational and after a while they get bored...Wow! answering was just a way of letting go!

No. He's just a human guy. Spiritual Leaders are not supposed to be perfect. They are just supposed to lead - spiritually. Mine does.

my spiritual leader in highschool slept with one of his assistants twenty something years his junior. It really f'd me up for a very long time. He was married for over 20 years and when he fell hard, he didn't realize he was taking some with him.

Yes, because every human is a hypocrite. We all contradict in some measure what we believe to be true.
