Somebody once made me a sausage and marmalade sandwich. Although I was reluctant to try it at first,I'm glad I did. It was surprisingly good and very satisfying.

When I was about 12 years old I used to get in from school and have a 'double-decker' sandwich.
Simple to make, slice of bread, smeared in Salad Cream, put another slice of bread on it and smear that with tomato sauce, put another slice of bread on the top and cut in half.

Without a doubt, one of the most unhealthy snacks I've eaten but for some reason it hit just the right spot!

the strangest sandwich ive eaten was when i was pregnant with my first daughter in 1973.I ate really mushy black slimy bananas on 2slices of burnt toast(where you saw the flames set fire to it)with little silverskin pickled onions pressed into the top.Yum,at the time it tasted like nothing on earth.

Not me but some years ago, a clerk was sent out for an unspecified sandwich and to be awkward, he returned with anchovy and banana! The manager reckoned that it was quite palatable but to my knowledge, nobody else tried one of the same.

I used to love peanut butter and mayonnaise sarnies, probably a bit of an acquired taste! Cheese and apricot jam is good though.

My friend ate a peanut butter and spaghetti sauce sandwich and really liked it. I ate a fried onion on toast with mustard and it was pretty good.
