Actually when people die; they're asleep in the grave. Death is called a sleep (Matt.9:24; John 11:11; 1Cor.15:51; 1Thess.5:10).
The spirit goes back to God that gave it!(Eccles.12:7; Psalm 146:4).
No man is in heaven except for Jesus--JOHN 3:13; ACTS 2:34.
------------------------------...
The Bible describes three hells.
SHEOL OR HADES, THE FIRST HELL
The first term in Greek and Hebrew means the grave. It's the grave where the dead await the resurrection.
GENESIS 37:35---I SHALL GO DOWN INTO THE GRAVE.
PROVERBS 15:11--HELL & DESTRUCTION ARE BEFORE THE LORD.
ECCLES.9:10---NO WORK...OR KNOWLEDGE...IN THE GRAVE,
MATT.11:23---WILL BE BROUGHT DOWN TO HADES
1COR.15:55---O HADES, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY
GEHENNA, THE SECOND HELL
The second term in New Testament means the place of fiery destruction of the wicked.
MATT.5:22--...BE IN DANGER OF HELL FIRE
MATT.10:28--TO DESTROY BOTH BODY AND SOUL IN HELL
TARTAROO, THE THIRD HELL
This third term is only used once and refers to the place of restraint where the demon spirits were placed following the rebellion against God.
2PETER 2:4---BUT CAST THEM DOWN TO HELL.
THE THREE HEAVENS
There's 3 heavens.
First Heaven = This is also called the firmament or expanse of heaven. It is the heaven where the birds fly and where the clouds give rain. (Gen.1:26; 2:20; 8:2 & 1Kings 18:45)
Second Heaven = This refers to outerspace where the sun, moon and stars can be found. (Gen.22:17 & Exodus 32:13 & Joshua 10:13)
Third Heaven = The Apostle Paul tells us that the heaven of God's abode is the "third heaven." In the Old Testament this is often designated by the phrase "the heaven of heavens." (Joshua 2:11 & Psalms 11:4 & 2Corinthians 12:2 equated with v.4 = paradise)
THERE ARE TWO KINGDOMS: ONE ON EARTH AND THE OTHER ONE COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN.
The 1st Kingdom of Heaven =
DAN.7:27 = "AND THE KINGDOM AND DOMINION, AND THE GREATNESS OF THE KINGDOM UNDER THE WHOLE HEAVEN, SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE PEOPLE OF THE SAINTS OF THE MOST HIGH, WHOSE KINGDOM IS AN EVERLASTING KINGDOM, AND ALL DOMINION SHALL SERVE AND OBEY HIM."
REV.5:10 = "AND HAST MADE US UNTO OUR GOD KINGS AND PRIESTS: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH."
The 2nd kingdom of Heaven =
AFTER 1,000 YEARS = A NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH-HOLY CITY COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN = REV.21:1-4; ISAIAH 65:17-25; 66:1,22 AND ETC.
SO HERE'S WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO---
ISAIAH 66:21; ZECH.14:9-11 = "BUILD HOUSES, PLANT VINEYARDS, EAT VINEYARDS"
ISAIAH 66:23; ZECH.14:16-19 = "WORSHIP FROM ONE NEW MOON TO ANOTHER AS ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER"
JESUS WILL BE GIVING CITIES TO THE SAINTS INWHICH THEY WILL BE TEACHING OTHERS THE TRUE MESSAGE OF THE BIBLE = MATT.25:14-23; EZEKIEL 36:10,33; LUKE 13:26; ISAIAH 61:4
WE WON'T MARRY OR BE GIVEN UNTO MARRIAGE = MATT.22:30
BOYS AND GIRLS WILL BE PLAYING IN THE STREETS = ZECHARIAH 8:4-5,8
MEEK SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH = PSALM 37:9-11; MATT.5:5; REV.5:10

Have you ever been spelunking? Exploring caves?
Do you know what total isolation is?
Do you enjoy talking?
One possible description of hell:
One will be totally isolated from everything one ever knew.
One will be unable to call out for mercy or anything else.
One will be surrounded in total darkness.
The last thing One will remember ...
is who One was dis-obedient to. <--- The Why!
One then can only weep and mourn.
One then can only grind One's teeth.
One will have burned into One's consciousness the forsaking of the True Creator and Saviour, therefore the worm will never die, always gnawing at the One's conscious for eternity with the burning desire to be forgiven.

of course hell is a bad place and only the ppl that dont follow what god is telling them to do..they will go to hell. For example; if god tells you in the book you read that you cannot kill people, and you do, then most likely you are going to go to the most scarriest place, hell. Also, if you belive that Jesus was the son of god, then ur wrong because hes not.

Hell is usually a mistranslation of the grave and is not the lake of fire which hell is cast into at the end of time. So everyone goes to Hell (Sheol, Amenta, the grave) because everyone dies. Why do people suffer, gnash their teeth, and receive torment? Because they chose to do evil in life and we reap what we sow. Of course, I'm talking about before death.

they are wrong. it's not just a place for unbelieving Christians or an myth. THE DEVIL SPEAK AGAIN. it's a place for all people. it's a place for all religions. Hell doesn't care care if you black, white, hispanic, asian, or in my case arab. young ( of knowing age) old, rich, almost rich, middle class, poor or provery stucken, all the devil cares about is how many souls he collects. it's not a place i am willing to go. hell is descibed like this because the ppl will pay. in the Qur'aan it speaks of the ppl being dragged on their faces by their heads and tossed into the hellfire.
may you be guided

The only way to go to hell is denying Jesus. You choose where you want to go. Accept Jesus as the Son of God and your Savior who loves you and gives eternal life to whomever wants it. Salvation is free, not by what you do. A free gift for those who believe in Gods Son.
Hell is different for each person depending on what they did in this short life because God is a judge and is fair. Would it be fair for a serial murderer to go to heaven? no! He doesnt care about Gods free gift of salvation and denies Jesus. If he repents and asks for forgiveness and quits his old life as a murderer even he can go to heaven because God is a God of second chances! Isnt that awesome?

Hell is the worst place you can go. It is a place of fire and mental torture. If you go you are there forever and for all eternity.
Hell is the home to murderers, theives (spell check), Non-Believers(all unrepentant Jews, Buddhists, Athiests, and Agnostics etc) Drug Addicts, Smokers, Adulterers (includes those who divorce and remarry), and fornicators among many others.

The Bible Describes Hell
There are three words translated “Hell” in Scripture:
Gehenna (Greek): The place of punishment (Matthew 5:22,29; 10:28; and James 3:6)
Hades (Greek): The abode of the dead (Matthew 11:23; 16:18; Luke 16:23; Acts 2:27)
Sheol (Hebrew): The grave (Psalm 9:17; 16:10)
There are those who accept that Hell is a place of punishment, but believe that the punishment is to be annihilated—to cease conscious existence. They can’t conceive that the punishment of the wicked will be conscious and eternal. If they are correct, then a man like Adolph Hitler, who was responsible for the deaths of millions, is being “punished” merely with eternal sleep. His fate is simply to return to the non-existent state he was in before he was born, where he doesn’t even know that he is being punished.
However, Scripture paints a different story. The rich man who found himself in Hell (Luke 16:19-31) was conscious. He was able to feel pain, to thirst, and to experience remorse. He wasn’t asleep in the grave; he was in a place of “torment.” If Hell is a place of knowing nothing or a reference to the grave into which we go at death, Jesus’ statements about Hell make no sense. He said that if your hand, foot, or eye causes you to sin, it would be better to remove it than to “go into Hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:43-48).
The Bible refers to the fate of the unsaved with such fearful words as the following:
“Shame and everlasting contempt” (Daniel 12:2)
“Everlasting punishment” (Matthew 25:46)
“Weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51)
“Fire unquenchable” (Luke 3:17)
“Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish” (Romans 2:8,9)
“Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:9)
“Eternal fire...the blackness of darkness for ever” (Jude 7,13)
Revelation 14:10,11 tells us the final, eternal destiny of the sinner: “He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone...the smoke of their torment ascended up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day or night."
************************************************************************************
God doesn't send anyone to hell. If you reject Christ, you'll send yourself to hell. God will not annihilate unbelievers because He will not destroy creatures made in His own image. That would be an attack on Himself. (What would you think of an earthly father who killed his son just because chose not to do what his father wanted him to do?) God is too loving to destroy those who don't want to be in His presence. His only choice is to quarantine those who reject Him. That's what hell does-it quarantines evil, which is contagious. Some people would rather be ruined than changed. They'd rather continue their rebellion than be reformed. So God says, "Have it your way. You may continue your rebellion, but you'll be quarantined so that you can't pollute the rest of my creation." Besides, it would be unloving of God to send people who can't bear to spend an hour on Sunday praising Him to a place where they will be praising Him for eternity. That would be "hell" to them!
We Christians certainly don't like what the Bible says about hell. We wish it weren't true. But Jesus, who is God, taught it and for good reason. It seems to be necessary. Without a hell, injustices in this world never be righted, the free choices of people would not be respected, and the greater good of a redemption could never be accomplished. If there is no heaven to seek and no hell to shun, then nothing in this universe has any ultimate meaning: your choices, your pleasures, your sufferings, the lives of you and your loved ones ultimately mean nothing. We struggle through this life for no ultimate reason, and Christ died for nothing. Without heaven and hell, this incredibly designed universe is a stairway to nowhere. We end with the greatest news anyone could ever hear. Your choices do matter. Your life does have ultimate meaning. And thanks to Christ, no one has to experience hell. Every human being can accept His free gift of eternal salvation. It takes no effort at all. Does it take some faith? Yes, but every choice-even the choice to reject Christ-requires faith. The choice is up to you.

Gosh, this is a really easy question. One) Yes, hell is indeed a bad place, proven by your knowledge of the scripture. Two)People who don't accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior and live according to his commandments (esp. love). Three)Because they did all of the previous.
