It means he's jealous. If you like your crush and the two of you don't communicate, that's a big problem. Let him know you like him and you were just babbling with the new guy and see what happens.

OK you are confused or just going about this all wrong. you don't talk to the guy you like yet you are worried about him seeing you talking to some other guy that, what , you don't like?
If you have a crush stop crushing and go talk to him. If you like this new guy enough to actually talk and laugh with him perhaps you need to readjust your crush.

I think your crush has some self esteem issues. Maybe you should think about that..... It definately will confuse your relationship with him. Unless you want to enable that little problem he has..........
