Not at all, I am 14 years younger then my fiance and there is no problem.

As long as you are both on a similar level in your lifes (jobs, finances goals etc) then there should not be a problem.

If one of you is still in the young party mode and the other isnt or one is ready to have kids but the other doesnt want to settle down yet then yes there may be a problem.

just be honest about your goals and expectations in the relationship and if you are on the same level then it isnt doomed at all.

Your relationship is doomed only if you let it be. My husband and I are 18 years apart. We have been married almost 15 and have a wonderful teenager together. We also have grand kids through his daughter from previous marriage. While things aren't always a bed of roses we can generally work them out. He sees things from a different era than I do but that is often a help. Usually at some point our opinions find common ground. Just figure out if the 2 of you want similar things or not then go for it.

It depends a lot on your ages. If the younger person in the relationship is past their mis 20's, most of the time this means that they already know who they are and what they want out of life. Most of the time by this age, both people have their ducks in a row, and are educated with a career and a set path they want to follow.

I agree with Jessica S; It depends mostly on your goals in life, respect, support and communication.

most likely yes. Maybe you will have some years of happiness but whoever is younger the relationship will turn sour for after a few years and they will probably regret the relationship.

My man and I are 15 yrs apart....I am the older of us. I think it can work if the both of you have enough in common and treat each other with love and respect.
We have been together for over 2 yrs.

Not at all. My aunt and uncle are 20 years apart, and happily married. If you both love each other, go ahead and go for it.

My grandfather was 12 years older then my grandmother and they made it work. My bf is 10 years older then me and we make it work. You have to make it work.
