Well first of all, if u have any intrest in this boy then get to know him. If u start paying more attention to him and he reacts to it as if he likes u, then try and build up the courage to ask him. Don't get all up over him. Just give him some play. If he's flirting with u, he either thinks dat ur a real fine lookin girl or he likes u. Just think of it dat way and then maybe try and build up the courage to ask him.
