How do I pop the hood on my Jeep Cherokee, 1990?

Once the hood is popped, go around to the front and lift it alittle and see where the locking latch is. Reach your hand in and lift.

seriously? you pull the little latch under the dash board (near your left knee) that has a picture of the truck with the hood open on it...
