Is it Ok to Murder? Steal? Curse?
It is one of the commandments. The ONLY one that begins with the word REMEMBER. Dont you think God (who knows the end from the beginning) knew in the last days man would forget about one of the commandments?

No. Not at all:
Isaiah 1:13 - God begins to reveal His displeasure with the Sabbath.
Matt. 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; John 20:1,19- the Gospel writers purposely reveal Jesus' resurrection and appearances were on Sunday. This is because Sunday had now become the most important day in the life of the Church.
Acts 20:7 - this text shows the apostolic tradition of gathering together to celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, the "first day of the week." Luke documents the principle worship was on Sunday because this was one of the departures from the Jewish form of worship.
1 Cor. 16:2 - Paul instructs the Corinthians to make contributions to the churches "on the first day of the week," which is Sunday. This is because the primary day of Christian worship is Sunday.
Col. 2:16-17 - Paul teaches that the Sabbath was only a shadow of what was fulfilled in Christ, and says "let no one pass judgment any more over a Sabbath."
2 Thess. 2:15 - we are to hold fast to apostolic tradition, whether it is oral or written. The 2,000 year-old tradition of the Church is that the apostles changed the Sabbath day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.
Heb. 4:8-9 - regarding the day of rest, if Joshua had given rest, God would not later speak of "another day," which is Sunday, the new Sabbath. Sunday is the first day of the week and the first day of the new creation brought about by our Lord's resurrection, which was on Sunday.
Heb. 7:12 - when there is a change in the priesthood, there is a change in the law as well. Because we have a new Priest and a new sacrifice, we also have a new day of worship, which is Sunday.
Rev 1:10 - John specifically points out that he witnesses the heavenly Eucharistic liturgy on Sunday, the Lord's day, the new day of rest in Christ.
Matt. 16:19; 18:18 - whatever the Church binds on earth is bound in heaven. Since the resurrection, Mass has been principally celebrated on Sunday.

Keeping the Sabbath Holy is a Commandment from God, so yes it is important. Saturday is the Sabbath. Jesus never changed that. He just said it was ok to help people on the Sabbath, just like every other day.
May God Bless you.

Traditionally it was Saturday, or the "sixth day". The Catholics typically had church service every day but both the Protestants and the Catholics considered Sunday to be the Lord's Day (Sabbath).
Hebrews 5:9 says "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience"
The important thing about the Sabbath I think is that often we lose focus of our spiritual walk and get consumed by things like work, hobbies, and yes, even our families. So the Sabbath is a time to just dedicate yourself to God. As to what to do on that day, or what to avoid, I think that is mostly up to you. For instance some people prefer to fast all day, others turn off the electricity, etc etc etc. Sometimes you may think being on the computer distracts you from God, so for at least one day you stay off it and spend time in prayer or study of the Scriptures. Whatever you think will help your relationship with God, do it.

It should be if you believe in the bible. If you are going to claim the bible is the word of god and condemn gays, etc, because of it, then I sure would expect you to be keeping the biblical sabbath, and all the other laws in the bible as well.

No the Sabbath day was given only to the Jews to keep not for everyone. We are no longer bound by the Old Testament.

It's a commandment, not a suggestion, so yeah, it's important. I'm thinking that Constantine changing it to Sunday to make it easier to convert pagans who worshipped their fake gods on Sundays isn't going to go over too well at judgment, cause God was pretty darn explicit about the sabbath.

The Church, not the Bible is the supreme new covenant faith authority, according to Jesus Christ.
The old law never saved anyone. Why bother trying to keep something that never worked in the first place?
The Church, according to the power and authority Jesus gave to it alone, changed the sabbath observance from Saturday to Sunday.
That's the way it is, and God is 100% OK with it.
He's not OK with Christians who mistakenly attempt to keep old and obsolete Jewish laws that result in curses, rather than blessings.
Mat 5:18 For amen I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot, or one tittle shall not pass of the law,
till all be fulfilled.
============
Jesus fulfilled all that was written about him in the law, the prophets, and the psalms.
Then, the old law passed away ... all of it.
I challenge anyone to prove otherwise, from scripture.

I think for the Jews it is, but keeping it holy, mean set it apart, so ithink giving reverence of the day, and that it was the day(season), doesn't mean a 24 hour Earth day, that God rest. So just knowing God you made the created everything and then you rested on a particular day just gives reverence to Him. That's all it is.
