u can go out with him but keep in mind what made u break up in the first place was it him or u? it never hurts to give it a try just be aware of what might happen if u break up again!

honestly if you like himand he likes you go for it peopel may think bad of you since he just broke up with his old gf but since he asked you it shouldn't be a big deal whatever you are comfortable with but i mean you don't wanna miss out on a gr8 guy you like that likes you back but whatever right
