Tell her that her obsessing about being ugly is just as vain as someone who is obsessing about how great they look. Both are focusing on self and being very self centered. Tell her it is just as annoying to hear as someone who thinks they are so hot looking.
When she starts talking about it what shes doing is trying to get attention. Explain that to her and tell her you like her as a friend but she needs to focus on something else before she drives you away.
