Uh oh! I guess you're in trouble now. lol
I don't know where you got the notion but, I'm crazy about OJ with pulp.
You propably should have worded your question something like "if you are American, do you or do you not like pulp in your OJ, if not, why."
(don't want to stereo-type anyone)

I feel that in different countries they might be use to fresh and natural foods. So when they drink orange juice they like the natural pulp taste, because it assures them of freshness. While, in America we tend to want things our way and we are able to control how things can taste and feel. So they are able to manipulate something as small as pulp in organge juice because they have that choice. At the end of the day it is personal opinion and some people tend not to enjoy something other than the "juice" part of the drink to go down their throats.

I don't mind pulp in fresh orange juice, but there's too much of it in store-bought OJ with pulp. When there's a lot, the texture feels weird in my mouth.

Some Americans do like it, though.

Most likely because they have never made REAL ORANGE JUICE from oranges.If they had they would understand that is what real Orange juice is and it contains PULP.

Silly person. I'm as American as apple pie and I LOVE pulp in my orange juice....the pulpier the better.
