I've always been curious if the opposite trend is true.

My guess is yes, but less so, and for different reasons. American women who like British accents mostly do b/c they think they sound sophisticated. Brits don't generally love the sound of the American accent, but often find America (and therefore its people) fascinating, and some tend to find visiting Americans charming. This is based on pretty limited experience, but in my one trip to London, I met 3 of the loveliest women I've ever known - and I'm pretty darn sure that being American had a lot to do with it.

I'm an American, and yes they do, we have a student workforce exchange program in my home town and have dated a few of them

and so far they all love our accent

Who really knows but there's something intriguing about any accent different from yours.It sound mysterious.alright it's sexy.
I love an English and Australian accents.They are nice to listen to.
