I love the British accent. Everything just sounds better with one. Even when they're yelling they just sound so...lovely! LOL.

It would depend on which accent; both British and US English have numerous different accents, some melodious and pleasant sounding, others flat and ugly (in my opinion).
If I had to choose an American accent, I would go for Bostonian English, which I love the sound of; I'm not so keen on some of the Southern US accents.
Amongst British accents, I would like to have a Scottish Highland or Western Isles accent, but would prefer to avoid some of our midlands accents.
Any of the afore-mentioned accents, however, is infinitely preferable to the one I have, which is from the South West of England, and which makes me cringe whenever I hear recordings of my own voice....

I like the English Canadian accent. which I think it is softer than East coast American and less hard on the ear.
UK accents vary a lot, some being unintelligible to foreigners and to some Brits. The Southern Irish ( Eire) accent is very easy on the ear while the Northern Irish accent isn't!
Unfortunately we in the UK import a lot of American TV so there is a gradual degradation of what used to be called Queens English to a mid Atlantic drawl.
BBC English used to be the standard but unfortunately not these days as they are using a lot of regional presenters . In England accent is often a indication of class and status - odd but true.

Definitely British, a northern British accent though, they're sweet! There's no way I'd like an American accent, especially if it was a Texas one, how annoying!

There are many American accents (regional) as there are in Britain (regional).
So, settle on speaking English well, with the accent you've got.
I wouldn't want an American or British accent; I'm Canadian.

I love the british accents. I dont' know enough about the diff dialects to choose one though. I love listening to them talk!
I can't stand the deep Southern accents. It tends to make people sound unintelligent. I know that is profiling, but that's what springs to mind when I hear extreme Southern drawls.

I love accents and unfortunatly don't really have one as my dad was in the Navy and we moved around and I didn't pick up anything in particular.
I have a sort of "neutral voice" which never fits in anywhere and I hate.
I love American accents and would chose that, I like a nice Southern drawl!!

Next Welsh, Geordie' English,Irish and Brummie. Don't give me a hard time if I left anyone out.
