As long as your child has received their shots OR you are working on catching up due to ilness, etc. you should be fine. The "time" does not really matter. I have learned that different doctors will immunize a bit differently, and that is fine. My daughter had to miss several sets of shots due to multiple ear infections. She received them late, and it has not been a problem with daycare or with enrollment in school. You might want to get a doctor's note about any shots your child is missing, if any, and the schedule for making up these shots.
People are not going to be looking at the when, just how many.
Also, the only immunizations that are voluntary right now (in Texas) are the influenza, Hep A., and HPV. Most states now include the chicken pox vaccine in the mandatory category and it is to be given between 12 and 18 months of age.

Depends on your state. Right now, in New York - the Hepatitis A vaccine is strongly recommended, but not yet mandatory. All the others are required by state law to enter school.
As far as the daycare protocol - that may vary by the daycare or the state. As long as you can document (via your pediatrician) that you're catching up on shots, they should accept the child.
If there's a religious or medical exemption for the shots - you have to sign a waiver for them.

Any shot is voluntary. The Drs and medical community will tell you otherwise but that is a fact. You ahev the right to refuse. Also a daycare or school has a right to refuse you entry unless you are refusing a vaccine for medical reasons(reaction), philosphical or religous reasons. Go to babyzone.com and look under the parenting boards for information pro and con on vaccines. They haeva vaccinations board to discuss this issue.

the flu shot and the chicken pox shot are voluntary. in my daughters daycare, if a child is way behind on their shots, they are not permitted in the daycare. however, they do not have to have the voluntary shots.

All vaccinations are voluntary no one can force you or your child to undergo any medical treatment.
EVERY state has at least one exemption and usually two or three for attending school. All have medical exemptions, some have religious and some have philosphical. You will need to fill out some paperwork but that is it.
Private daycares I believe are not required to allow any child to attend and can have any rules they wish.

see you later as you've kept documentation of your funds, how a lot and how usually, for a minimum of the merely accurate 5 years, extra will be better, then no she can't get you for any extra toddler help. It sounds like you've been not in any respect married to the mummy, & i understand you suggested that you've been not in any respect signed up with the youngster help place of work. the final nationwide rule is that child help will proceed till the youngster turns 18 or graduates intense college, which ever is very last. merely in divorce papers can a choose order you to pay for faculty or till the youngster is 21 or 25, because of faculty. If she did attempt to "screw" you considering your going to quit funds, and tell chlld assist you not in any respect paid, toddler help merely has the authority to reserve funds for as a lot because the childs 18th birthday or intense college commencement date, except there are divorce papers declaring otherwise. So the youngster help place of work would merely be attempting to bypass after decrease back help. yet in case you may tutor that you probably did make funds, or have another written settlement along with your ex then she will be in a position to get no longer something. relying on the state you stay in she merely has till the youngster turns 19 or 21 to attempt to make certain a clean account for a decrease back toddler help order. i imagine that is it tremendous that there are some dad's obtainable that extremely do care, and are not forced to pay help, because the dad and mom can get alongside, and pay besides. i'm 26, married with youthful ones, my dad and mom nevertheless provide me funds on celebration if i elect it. So do not sense like you may want to reveal us that you'll nevertheless help your son if he needs it. tremendous dad and mom continually do.

You can refuse any immunzations. But your child has to have them if going into daycare. It's not that they will refuse you if the shots we not done at the right time, but they will refuse to accept your child if they have not been done at all. And most daycares require your child to have ALL their shots.
Hope this helps

They are ALL voluntary (well, not that kids would volunteer, but their parents have a choice.) All you have to do is claim an exemption, religious or otherwise to get them into school or daycare.

Make sure they get ALL their shots. You don't want them getting an illness that was preventable
