I have been dating a guy for about a year...I plan to move to a different state with my brother in about 12mos. should I tell the guy or just wait to see how the relationship progresses?

you have 12 months before you move, if 8 months pass and your relationship hasnt entered the next level, its not going to, so get ready to move. if 10 months pass and you havent seperated yet, your almost too late to bail on your bro, so 10 months and beyond is your red zone.
Tell him too soon and the relationship will have set limits, and it will fail because of it. If you know this guy isnt going to be around for the long run, theres no loss, but dont get careless.

I'd wait and see how the relationship goes. A lot can happen in a year. When it gets closer to time to move then you'll have to decide whether you still want to move or not

maybe tell him you may be moving in the far far future, but i'd just wait and see how things progress...this way there can be no regrets.
this way if you do break up before you move its not a big deal. but if you tell him now he may want to break up so that he's not "wasting his time" but if you dont tell him you can see if you naturally break up...or possibly that far away he may want to go with you (depending on your ages of course because i don't know them)
but also...dont wait to tell him until 2 weeks before you leave either, you do want to give him some warning.

I would tell him now, he will question why you did not tell him sooner if you do decide to go. That would make me question what other things are being kept hidden. Communication is the key to any relationship.

wait to see where the relationship progresses.... this could be "the one" you don't want to spring out that your moving... and risk never knowing exactly how far things could have gone

you could casually mention the move since you have been dating this guy for a year. so if i wear you i would causally mention it. don't make a big deal out of it.

I think that you should be honest and tell your man.If you don't then it could probably ruin your relationship.If he really loves you,he will understand and will always be there for you.
