I heard that this Urkal dude is a decent fighter. Could Cotto be looking ahead to a possible June fight with Zab Judah and get beat Saturday? After all, Zab got beat by Carlos Baldomir when looking ahead to a blockbuster showdown with Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson got beat by Buster Douglas when he had a Superfight in the works with Evander Holyfield back in 1990, so it can happen.

Well anything is possible. I myself just do not see Cotto getting beat by Urkal. Cotto is just too much of a skilled fighter. He will win this fight easily.

Cotto isn't going to get beat any time soon. Urkal is at best a money fight for Cotto, and Judah doesn't have the heart to beat Cotto. Zab has talent and speed, but boxing is more than just physical tools. It really is 90% mental attitude at the higher levels and Judah's head has always been a question. If Zab has his head right he might make a fight of it with Cotto, but character and heart are tough to beat, and Cotto has plenty of both.

Wothout a doubt, the unheralded Urkal is capable of defeating Miguel Cotto. Cotto, however, is in very good shape. He is handling his career very well to say the least. The record of his last 5 opponents before he fought them were a combined 123 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. That has got to be saying something.
I'm sure Urkal is a very decent fighter. I don't mean to take anything away from him. His best chance, however, is a draw. Cotto is at the peak of his superpowers. His record will attest to that. I just don't see the fight going any other way but Cotto's.

Not likely as Cotto is too focused and determined to allow that to happen. He will not look past Urkal and take care of business promptly.

Very unlikely. Urkal can only hope to get a decision but if Cotto is busy he should have no problem.
