What are some good things to start feeding them at this age, i know pasta is a good one. And like those goldfish crackers. But i would like some more ideas, for when i go to the grocery store, i am trying to get her to the point to where she will only be eating table foods. Thanks ahead of time

My daughter is 11 months old. she usually eats what we eat for dinner, just cut into small peices and mashed up if it is something tough to chew (she is a VERY late teether....only has the bottom 2). She does very well.

We buy a lot of Gerber Graduate products. They are awesome. The Lil Entree's are perfect for when we have things that are not baby friendly (like tacos). Also, she loves the Meat Sticks and the Fuit/Veggie Dices.

Other than that, she eats:
Yo Baby Yogurt
Fruit cups (like Del Monte)
Veggie Cups (wal-mart sells small, microwavable cups of veggies)
any vegetables, cooked soft and cut up
bananas
mac and cheese
any pastas
cheese
Fruit/Veggie Puffs (mostly the wal-mart brand)

Gerber makes some good little veggie and fruit crackers (and Walmart sells a comparable generic brand). Well cooked carrots and other veggies that she can pick up with her hands is good, even grapes, if you cut them into quarters. Be careful with the fish crackers, I've seen kids that age choke on them. Cheerios is always a good standby. Basically your baby girl can eat anything adults eat as long as it's cut into small enough pieces except things like hotdogs and other pieces of meat that are not easily chewed (I'm sure she doesn't have a mouthful of teeth yet).

My little ones on no account ate jarred infant nutrition after point a million. and that i won't be able to blame them. That stuff is gross. I made my own nutrition whilst my little ones have been approximately this age. I positioned even though we've been having for dinner interior the nutrition processor, and floor it up, purely slightly. Like as quickly as we had roast pink meat, I in basic terms positioned a chuck interior the blender, further some gravy, did a pair pulses of the blender, then gave it to her on her tray. It became yummy, and it wasn't dry or too troublesome for her to bite. i think of besides peanut butter and honey, something became honest interest at this age. I mushed up each and every thing and positioned it on the tray.

You need to feed him/her mushy finger foods. Things they won't choke on but they can pick up and feed themselves. Things like mushy carrots, baby peas, little pieces of pasta (ditalini works well because they are already small). They can eat almost anything, as long as its cut up small enough so they don't choke on it. Remember, their passageway is approximately the size of a cocktail straw...feed accordingly.

canned beans, vegetables like peas and carrots and greenbeans, cheerios, diced ham, shredded cheese, raisins, fruit cut up real small like cantalope, watermelon and strawberries, mashed potatoes or baked potato, oatmeal.

With the exception of honey and maybe nuts and shellfish your 11 month old should be eating everything you do.

all fruit, dried fruit, whole wheat toast, whole wheat toast w/Cinnamon, oatmeal, mac n cheese, veggies of all shapes and sizes, cooked and uncooked, cukes, salad, salad with ranch, veggie burgers, chic nuggets, whole wheat waffles, french toast sticks, rice, yogurt, frozen fruit, oodles of noodles, great to watch, meatballs, pork chops cut up, breakfast cereals fortified with iron, baked beans, veggy sticks, mashed sweet potatos, sweet potatoe fries, or patties, pears, bananas, tomatoes, broc, cauliflower, all Campbell's chunky soups, fish sticks, bagels, baby corn in Chinese section of grocery store, mushrooms ,casseroles, bran or other flavor muffins, jello, whole wheat noodles all different shapes,

Try yoghurt and fruit if the little one does not have many teeth as yet try tinned fruit .
"Sunshine potatoe", pumpkin and potato mashed with a little butter.

gerber has fruit flavored snacks that my daughter loved. she also always liked cherrios when your child is ready for the hard ones. but the gerber snacks my daughter loved them and they dissolve fast for kids without a lot of teeth
